DESIGN

EXTERIOR DESIGN
Creating a new GT coupe allowed our design team to combine inspiration from past iconic Continental models with the most advanced technologies.
The familiar haunch line - a crisp modern echo of the original 1950s R-Type Continental - has sharp, modern radii to create distinct surfaces giving a wide, confident and sporting feel.
These sharp, contemporary lines are only achievable thanks to Bentley's state-of-the-art facilities and its life-long commitment to producing coach-built cars featuring exquisite details.

INTERIOR DESIGN
Our interior designers have skilfully evolved the Continental GT's cabin to produce a stylish yet cocooning space. Incredible attention to detail has gone into making the interior as quiet and refined as possible.
The new steering wheel introduces new knurled paddle-shift gear selectors and a new wheel shape to give an even more assured grip. Behind it, the instrument panel and dashboard subtly echo the flying wings of the Bentley motif. Fashioned from the highest quality soft-touch leathers and striking analogue dials that, at night, flood with 'blood orange' illumination. The dynamic cockpit area rises from the centre console in the form of dramatically surfaced 'wings'.
The GT's distinctive new Mulliner GT Design seats now have the option to be crafted from semi-aniline hides for superior comfort. With front-seat ventilation as well as a state-of-the-art massage system.

MULLINER DRIVING SPECIFICATION
The Mulliner Driving Specification adds exclusivity without detracting from the purity of the Continental GT's design. For the exterior, unique 21" 7 Twin-spoke alloy wheels with a choice of painted or polished finishes develop the sporting theme. Inside, the Mulliner Driving Specification includes quilted perforated hide seats, door infill and rear three-quarter panels with embroidered Bentley emblems on the headrests, while the knurled sports gear lever and drilled alloy sports foot pedals recall Bentley's grand touring heritage.
For the GT Coupe an indented leather headlining is also part of the Mulliner Driving Specification. A Jewel fuel and oil filler cap provides the finishing touch.

EVERYDAY PRACTICALITY
It's rare in the world of supercars to find a vehicle that can offer superb everyday usability alongside such potency.
With the Continental GT, we weren't prepared to make that compromise. It's the little things that count. We knew it was just as important to have somewhere to instantly stow your sunglasses, mobile phone, keys or any other item so you can remain comfortable, relaxed and enjoy your coupe's sumptuous interior.

PERFORMANCE

ENGINEERING
The story of Bentley begins with an engine. The Sopwith Camel's BR1 rotary-radial engine, considered the finest fighter aircraft engine of World War I, was designed by a young engineer called W.O. Bentley. Its success provided W.O. with the funds to found a car company in 1919. Within the decade, Bentley had become the dominant force in endurance racing, with 5 Le Mans victories and many other accolades.
W.O. did not live to see the 12-cylinder 6-litre Continental engine, with its compact 'W' cylinder formation and twin-turbochargers, but he would certainly have been fascinated by it. With its maximum power raised from 575PS to 590PS, it is capable of astonishing performance, yet remains impeccably refined.

DRIVING DYNAMICS
Unlike standard two-wheel-drive cars, the Continental GT benefits from one of the world's most advanced all-wheel-drive systems. Its ability to accelerate under a wave of torque at any speed, in all weather conditions is unparalleled.
All-wheel drive is not simply about delivering superb traction for higher performance, it also ensures greater safety in all weather conditions. The advanced system can instantaneously adjust the power split between the front and rear wheels depending on the available grip. In addition, the uprated Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system operates alongside the all-wheel drive system to deliver superb reassurance whatever your driving style.

EFFICIENCY
An 8-speed close-ratio transmission and innovative Variable Displacement system, the W12 twin-turbo engine creates less emissions than before, despite the increase in power.

TECHNOLOGY

INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM
To complement its modern interior, the Continental GT boasts touchscreen technology.
The system - designed specifically by Bentley - uses a combination of touchscreen controls and classic knurled rotary switches to offer instant usability and crystal-clear feedback.

NAVIGATION & CONNECTIVITY
As you drive, the Continental GT's infotainment system provides real-time monitoring of your tyre pressures, access to your phone contacts (either via Bluetooth or by inserting your SIM card) and the opportunity to zoom in or out of mapping at the touch of a finger. You can even opt for built-in WiFi should you wish.

ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM
For the latest Continental models, the infotainment system features the latest software upgrades, which vary from region to region, but include refinements such as point of interest mapping and, where the infrastructure supports it, digital radio. While the 15GB of available music space should be enough to last you on a round-the-world tour without hearing the same track twice, you can also play music via an iPod, MP3 player, the car's own optional 6-disc CD changer or even an SD card.

NAIM™ FOR BENTLEY
The bespoke Naim™ for Bentley system, incorporating custom-built speakers and eight individual DSP modes, is available as an option for your Continental GT, turning the cockpit of a Bentley into the equal of any concert venue in the world.
